Other Florida Turkey Hunting Guides
There's only one place to find Osceola turkeys...the Sunshine State.  Florida turkey hunting
is usually the last leg of the Grand Slam tour, but I would recommend making it the first.  If
you find a quality Florida turkey hunting guide and you've done your Osceola turkey
homework, you should have no problem bagging a big gobbler.  After that, the other
sub-species of turkeys are "easy" to hunt.  The turkey hunting outfitters below will do their
best to make your trip a success.
As mentioned above, Florida is THE place to find the Osceola turkey.  I've guided a lot of turkey hunters in SD that have gone after
the Osceola, and from what I hear, they are a smart and tough bird to harvest.  If you're looking for a good Florida turkey hunt, make
sure you get a guide that knows their stuff.  The above outfitters have been in the business many years and should be able to give
you the best chance of bagging an Osceola turkey.  So...pick a good guide, check them out, and get ready for some intense hunting
action.  Many turkey hunters will never get the chance to hunt Osceola, so don't take your trip for granted.  Plan on having good days
and bad while hunting turkeys in Florida.  They are much more weary than the other sub-species, but with good preparation and,
more importantly, a good Florida turkey hunting guide, your chances can be greatly increased.  Good luck on your trip and be sure to
take a kid hunting with you so that the sport of turkey hunting can last for generations.  Remember...our kids will be doing the voting
25 years from now.
